Thursday, Feb 12th

Well, kind of an up and down day..... they decreased his oxygen today and his rate of air....blood gasses showed good progress. Later, they had to turn it up again; that's not abnormal. His vitals seem good, and they take good care of him....sometimes he gets upset because of being moved, his breathing tube bothers him, bringing up fluid, etc., and then he turns bright red and scares us some, but he seems to calm down after a bit, when they suction him out, etc. and his stats go back to being pretty good. He seems to be resting pretty well; we just got back from the hospital to see him. Been a long day....James, Sandra, Katie, and Rachelle Brunk came to visit, took us out for breakfast, and then they took Karen and Logan back to Ohio. Gonna miss 'em! They got back to Ohio around 5:15! Anyway, we are gonna chill out here at the Children's House, and maybe get some rest! On a side note, today was the first time I've had sliced Corned Beef on Rye Bread, and I had it for breakfast! Very Good. Thanks James and Sandra! P.S. Baby Nick is 1 wk. old today! Keep on Praying.
Thanks,
Rob

Not sure if I can comment on blogger but I'll try. The bili lights....are they done. I've had that with two of my babies. Its enough to make a mama cry but I suppose that is minor compared to what you've been through. I havent been keeping up the greatest. My husband is in Oklahoma teaching Bible School and with four children my hands are full. We will keep praying.
